Describe what you mean by dismantle.

I wouldn't think you would have to prep it like you would for anodizing because there should be no acid used... maybe light sanding and painting.

By dismantle I mean take out all the internals. My understanding is that taking out the internals are kind of a pain. I was hoping I could avoid it if they are able to just plug it up somehow.

I think you would only have to take out the on/off and the regulator. The power tube should be able to be masked along with the threads for the regualtor.

CarlJr, do I have that right?

well shit. that's why i'm asking. if it's not a pain in the ass i'll do it myself. i had thought you needed a vice and shit to take apart some of the pieces. if i can do it all by hand i'll do it on my own. i've never had to take apart my valves before other than to replace the pin assembly.

thanks for actually being helpful zondo

It can just be plugged and taped off to be hydro dipped. You should use someone you trust to dip it though if you choose to get it done...cough cough.
