gforce frames

so quick question. my brother and i both have gforce frames. in my trigger pull, i only feel slight resistance and no click. on my brother's frame, there's a mildly forceful resistance and click. i like the way my brother's is set up. are all g force frames the same? is possible they have different pneumatics? i don't wan't to break down my bro's gun in fear of screwing something up.

Are the LPR's the same or different?

Dan's is probably tuned to a higher psi

Are you guys running the same on/off (RT vs ULT perhaps)?

Capt Spank 09-22-2014 01:46 PM

i believe we're both running RT on/offs (i am at least). I think he has a micro rock and i'm using a random wgp i think. i can't imagine the psi would be drastically different. the resistance is less of a concern. i like the "click" that he gets, but that would be from something mechanical vs pneumatic, right? you know what, i should just gut his frame...

splat15k 09-22-2014 01:55 PM

Like Twilight suggested, it sounds like your bother's LPR is set at a higher output. The click is probably the sear extender smacking the back of the frame or the setscrew.

And yes, you should totally gut his frame!!!!! ;)

Capt Spank 09-22-2014 02:09 PM

it's a physical click that you feel when you pull the trigger. not so much a sound. fuck it's hard to describe. anyway, gutting his is the way to go.:D

Buy a micro rock and you too shall have click!

What he said. There is a noticeable difference. You can run the micro rock at a lower pressure. We aren't sure why, we think flow rate and reserve space but it's just educated speculation.

What pressures have you gentlemen been running with your pneumag setups? ~30psi?

soulcoffin 09-22-2014 09:22 PM

Mines just cooler... Simple as that :p

Plus, it's been worked on by the mag whisperer
