Now this is an idea that is way overdue...

As soon as funds are available, I may be picking up a few of these.

I remember when they came out. They are cool, but way to much for someone like me with 14+ markers. :(

Yeah im in that same boat, but when I go out to play I usually bring around SIX. At least having five of those would be very helpful.

Yeah they are nice, but pricey. Call me a cheap bastard but I use the blanket they give you on US airways :D...it's some weird material, cut them in half and use them as wraps they work great

How about a group buy for a discount? Maybe we can get them to cut us a break for a large order?
I'd need at least a dozen, but can't afford anywhere near that number!

I picked up some cheap long gun cases, for about $14 a pop. You can fit 4-6 guns per case, depending on what they are. For you married guys this is a plus, because you can keep them all, out of sight out of mind. If you buy an extra case or two, it leaves plenty of room for collection expansions without causing domestic conflicts.

If I am even carrying a marker that I am concerned about I will wrap in in a towel. Both of the bags that I use have a spot for the marker specifically that will avoid damage to it under normal circumstances.
I decided long ago that I had to start limiting the amount of extraneous gear that I was carrying as it was too much to keep track of and tote around all the time. These would just add to the clutter.

Im to the point now where I am seriously thinking about getting a small trailer to bring my 'clutter' with me when I play. :d'oh:

Seen those, but I don't feel like paying $200 to wrap all my markers. Personally, I was thinking of a towel that has velcro around the edges so you can just put the marker in it and fold it in half. Cheap and effective. For $25 a pop, I'd just buy eight cases from that dude on AO...

Before my accident and when we were still playing regularly down at my buddies backyard renegade field I could have done that too. I was bringing chrono, three scuba tanks, fill stations, generally about eight or so markers at a time of the fourteen I had at the time, masks for the whole family, tanks, backup tanks, hoppers, pod packs. Honestly I was filling the back of my longbed F150 with gear just to go play a day.
Well my wife probably will never play again, although I keep her classic splash mag just in case. My daughter doesn't like to play anymore. My son won't play speedball but on the occasion that he does I have his gun and gear in a little gun case that he can handle. I don't actually know any other folks that tag along to play anymore and with what has been going on I just sold off well over half of my gear. My last mag will probably be sold this week...
So all the truckload of stuff is back down to an amount that would fit behind the seat in the suv once more.

If I bring all of my crap... I can fill the entire back of the Santa Fe, to the ceiling. That doesn't include any scuba tanks, just markers, assorted parts and gear!
I also need to "de-clutter", but don't plan to, anytime soon! :D

I did a 'review' of Gat Wraps on PBL... but for some reason that has disappeared, as have many of my posts... Some I deleted... others -- Who knows..
Anyway, I love the gat wraps -- I bought the team option and got 6 for $100 and I am very satisfied with the product.
Fit well in my Gear Bag --

Makes a handy work mat...

Strong Velcro and stitching...

I can post more pics if you want, but that is the gist of what they are all about.
Well worth the investment -- before I was wrapping my markers in old towels...

hahaha.. no.. He was pissed when I "Stabbed him in the back" after being a big RPG supporter. I deleted some threads, and some just went away...
I like the products, however his people skills need some polishing.

I'll say this too. The owner of "Understood" is a solid dude. He was the lone vendor at our Fall game last year and has supported the Club with his presence for a while now. "Team Option" Huh?
